I was born in 1983 in Ngecha village. I joined Karuri Primary School in 1989 to 1997. Having pursued a Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, I did not join Secondary School due to financial problems. I decided to work to feed my self and try to help my parent.
In the year 2003 I started having interest in art because I was living nearby artists in my home area. I would be invited for Workshops at Ngecha Artists gallery, banana art studio, and, ramoma in 2004 to 2005.
In the year 2005 I exhibited my work at Ngecha YMCA Centre. Since then I have been exhibiting my work at Goethe Institute in 2007, 2008, and 2009 during president Obama’s inauguration at US Embassy to mark women history and Black history festival unity through diversity.
